We chose the Avanti by chance--just Googled hotels in Santa Maria looking for a place to stay the weekend while in town for AirFest '25. We were pleasantly surprised as the hotel is freshly renovated and while our room was not large, it was spotlessly clean and furnished with a comfortable chair and bed. Large, up-to-date bathroom with an excellent shower. And, while this is something rarely rated or mentioned, they provide nice, large towels. They also have complimentary sodas in the office. The Avanti is a hotel we would gladly use again.

This is my second time staying at Hotel Avanti in Santa Maria, and I’m even more impressed than the first time! From the moment you walk in, you can tell this hotel is special. The entire place is spotless, stylish, and feels freshly renovated. The rooms are absolutely adorable — everything looks brand new, and the design is both modern and cozy. The bed and pillows are super comfortable, which made for such a relaxing night’s sleep. It really feels like a boutique luxury hotel without the high price tag. I first stayed here about six months ago, and I remember being amazed at how beautiful and well-maintained the hotel was. Coming back now and seeing how consistent and even better the experience is just makes me appreciate it even more. One of the things that truly sets Hotel Avanti apart is the outstanding hospitality. The front desk staff is so friendly and welcoming — it really feels like they care about making your stay perfect. The woman at the front desk is especially sweet, kind, and professional. Her warm attitude made me feel right at home. The location is also super convenient — close to restaurants, shops, and everything you need in Santa Maria. Free Parking in The hotel and feels very safe and peaceful. I’ll absolutely stay here again whenever I come to Santa Maria. It’s now my go-to hotel in the area. Highly, highly recommended!

We enjoyed our 2-night stay at Hotel Avanti, where the staff was friendly and helpful. Our room was nicely renovated, if a bit worn. The mattress and pillows were very comfortable, and the linens were high quality. Except for a garbage truck one day, the room was very quiet and the black-out roller shade kept it very dark in the morning. The location is a little industrial, but it's walking distance to The Swiss, an excellent Santa Maria-style barbecue restaurant. We recommend Hotel Avanti.

This is our go-to safe hotel when we travel to Santa Maria for work. The staff is incredibly friendly, the appliances are brand new, and everything is spotless. Occasionally, the noise from passing cars can be a bit annoying, but the comfortable, clean, and cozy bed more than makes up for it. Neel is always very attentive, even when my team and I check in late due to work. He is consistently friendly, polite, and helpful.

The rooms were nicely renovated and very modern. Quite clean however as it’s beside a busy main road, it’s very noisy and we’re woken through the night by traffic and police sirens.

The Hotel was in a great area, everything like food and convenience store were all nearby including the freeway. The front desk gentleman was very nice and attentive. Our room was great, we booked a family suite where the first room was the twin bed and the next room was a king. It was very neat and set up nicely. My only issues were the floors were exactly clean, they felt unswept and mopped. And the room was dusty including the bathrooms. I didn’t get a picture of them as i forgot too. There was dust on the headboard of the bed, the side tables, the bathroom counters and floor. I was a little disappointed, but i loved the stay the rooms were comfortable.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel from June 13th to June 14th, 2025! The rooms are all remodeled and very clean. Checking in was easy, and the lady at the front desk, Vrenda, was sweet and kind. I accidentally left my iPad, which I use for work, and the gentleman I spoke to over the phone was incredibly helpful. He assured me that he would ship it to my address. The location is also great—it's close to Pismo Beach and there's a bowling alley with a cool club/lounge just around the corner from the hotel. Overall, I'm very satisfied with the service and the room! I had a wonderful stay with my husband.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel and can’t recommend it highly enough. The room was spacious, impeccably clean, and tastefully decorated—every detail felt thoughtfully curated for comfort. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I loved the modern touches throughout the space.The location was perfect—conveniently situated near some restaurants, laundromat, 7/11 and still peaceful and quiet at night. What truly made the stay exceptional, though, was Sharath. He was attentive, and genuinely welcoming. From check-in to check-out, Sharath went above and beyond to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience. All in all, a wonderful place to stay—I’ll definitely be returning!
